Hey, I left you a comment on addme_sane but then I realized your post was from November so I'm leaving a note here as well. Just in case.
"I've just started a new journal and I also find having a few people to interact with to be therapeutic. I would love to be friends but I also want to give you an idea of what my journal will be like so that you know if it's something you'll be interested in reading..
I tend to write most when I'm struggling the most. I have been away for a couple of years and I'm coming back because my issues are flaring up rather badly. I struggle to identify what I need in a counselor, so right now, the focus of my journal is to analyze my life, thoughts, feelings and try to figure out what I need. Which means it's basically one unending complaint/pity party. Or .. I worry that is how it will seem to others.
I know sometimes that can come off as a constant negativity that is more harmful than helpful, so that's why I'm giving you a heads up. I would love to have a friend though.
I suppose I should add, my primary issues are anxiety and depression. If you'd like more information, I can tell you more."
